Why Are Stories “The Miracle Path” To Convert & Compete In ANY Market or Niche? (Must Read!)

I’ve been writing copy for about 8 years now.

And I gotta tell you…

If you’re convincing yourself that you don’t need a story to convert…

You’re frickin’ nuts.

Here’s why…

Stories are the quickest and easiest way to get your message across to people who NEED to hear it; 

People who desperately WANT what you’re offering…

Even if they don’t know it yet. 

Or I should say…

Especially if they don’t know it yet.

When you tell an authentic, well-written story…

People don't feel like you're selling them something

You’re just sharing your experience;

An experience that’s an archetypical reflection of your avatar’s current circumstances. 

And since we’re always seeing ourselves in other people’s stories…

Telling YOUR story… or the stories of people you’ve impacted, inspired and helped is the most profitable way to emotionally connect with YOUR avatar.

Don’t believe me?

Well, take a look at Hollywood.

The movie industry, as a whole, is worth 30 billion dollars a year.

Why?

Because stories are how we connect, escape and imagine a different, better life for ourselves.

Look at Rocky. Look at Forrest Gump. Look at Titanic.

We SEE ourselves in the characters; in their trials and triumphs…

Which instantly makes us want MORE.

Because stories literally disarm our objections and cynicism — helping us open up to new possibilities… 

Instantly.

And quite frankly…

Anyone selling anything should WANT to give context for WHY they’re putting their product or service out in the first place.

Duh, right?

Well…

Wrong.

Believe it or not…

A HUGE number of digital marketers, even the really successful ones, don’t give stories the attention they deserve.

But here’s the thing…

Those successful IMers would be exponentially MORE successful — if they took the time to launch a new product or service…

After beta testing…

And helping people get the results that copywriters, like me, are paid to promise the target audience.

I mean…

Doesn’t it sound counter-intuitive to make promises you don’t even know are… true?

Yup.

But a lot of product developers get away with essentially lying, because of slick copy.

I’m as guilty as anyone in doing just that.

I know how to masturbate people’s emotions in ways most copywriters can only dream about

However…

Why do that… when you can authentically connect with your prospects through storytelling?

Seriously. I’m asking.

Look, at the end of the day…

We’re ALL archetypes.

And stories are archetypal.

That means…

A kick ass story is the path of least resistance; “the miracle path” to getting your potential customers or clients to buy from you…

RIGHT NOW!

And if you aren’t using that competitive edge…

You’re leaving a veritable fortune on the table… for someone else to take from you
